Pioneer for e-drives
As early as the 1980s, Edscha TS presented a drive control for full tarpaulin covers. This was followed in the 90s by a drive concept for the CurtainSider roof system. Then came the E-Drive for TipperRoof. This E-Drive in particular showed what such a solution is capable of. Despite the heavy load on many construction sites day after day, the roof system and E-Drive worked together safely and flawlessly. In addition to the technical solution, the quality was also a guarantee for perfect work processes.
Removing the cost pressure
From a cost-benefit perspective, the new E-Drive shows its particular advantages. The investment in such a system is the prerequisite for effective work. Responsible for this are, among other things, the fast, safe and, above all, very convenient handling of loading and unloading situations.
Fast switching
The drive control can be operated via a box on the vehicle, a switch in the cab, via an external radio switch and via a dedicated app via Bluetooth. There is also a connection for external operation. Another plus point is the very low power consumption. This means that an E-Drive can be operated via the normal on-board power supply without additional fuse protection. Further additional functions can be integrated
In case of need
Thanks to the ingenious design and the special variety of functions, the E-Drive can also show its versatility in special cases. For example, in situations where the driver can drive to the unloading point but is not allowed to leave the cab for safety reasons. The E-Drive then enables the safe opening and closing of the sliding roof.
