Many advantages at a glance
With the currently optimised SB-Profi, market leader Edscha TS offers a sliding bow roof that has been successful in the logistics sector for many years, specially developed for vehicles without a body but with a tarpaulin cover. The special advantage: a single person is able to uncover the entire loading area from the ground very quickly. This enables quick loading and unloading from all sides and from above.
Outstanding technology
Another interesting feature of the new SB-Profi is that it retains assembly standards. Mounting on a 2480 mm standard chassis (for SB 2550mm) is possible, as is connection to a standard CurtainSider bulkhead including tarpaulin tensioning system. The connection width is only 35 mm per side. The easily exchangeable rollers are guided by a robust flat iron rail and are characterised by very high precision and a long service life.
Quick deployment
Users will hardly notice any conversion problems when using the optimised SB-Profi. All essential features of the sliding bow roof are retained and can be used as before. These include, for example, the modular design and a solid construction with segmented steel rails.
More loading volume
Newly calculated kinematics make it possible to further optimise the load volume of the SB-Profi. The package length is less than 25% of the length of the loading area. In addition, heavy-duty tensioning straps with mounting under the frame can be used without any functional restrictions.
